After a season of “will it or won’t it,” the 35th Annual Greater Palm Springs Pride is happening. This year the official Festival returns to Arenas Rd. and Palm Canyon Drive with their Downtown Event Zone. Pride events will run the week of November 1st to the 7th, with the theme You Are Included. Stage performances will include Third Eye Blind, The Robyn Party, A Flock of Seagulls, Jody Watley, The Perry Twins, and local drag performers, among many. There will be family-friendly opportunities as well as free health resources, including COVID-19 testing, vaccinations, and HIV testing sites. “After the stress, uncertainty, and isolation of the pandemic, this is a significant time for our community to come together.

Pride will be a coming-out celebration of our beautiful community, an opportunity to honor those we have lost and give a voice to the power of self-expression, inclusiveness, and love,” said Ron deHarte, President and CEO of Greater Palm Springs Pride. “We celebrate and use the Pride platform to resist hate, intolerance, racism, and bigotry. Together we affirm our fight for immigration reform, access to health care, and trans rights.”

The yearly Parade, featuring personalities, businesses, and organizations from the community, will step off Sunday, November 7th at 10am from the Uptown Design District at Tachevah and Palm Canyon Dr. and travel south through downtown ending at the entrance to the Pride Festival at Amado. In addition to the Official Pride Stage Events and Parade, the community has rallied together to offer a number of ancillary events, catering to a wide variety of Pride goers. Here is our list of the best of the best to include on you tour of Pride in Palm Springs.
