Asia in Palm Springs

The best of San Francisco entertainment has arrived and is making a home in Palm Springs.  Since 1998, Asia SF has opened its doors to the San Francisco public, travelers and party goers with Its delightfully fun, ground-breaking entertainment and dining venue.  AsiaSF has been a visionary pioneer in the entertainment industry, providing a safe, fun and friendly environment for our Transgender community and supporters.  

This news hits home to me in so many ways. Having lived in San Francisco for over 15 years, I’ve experienced the positive influence that Asia SF has been for not only me but for our community and everyone in between. Providing job opportunities, inclusion and awareness to others, Asia SF is a staple in SF’s LGBT Community, and I am proud and excited that they have brought this experience to Palm Springs!

I relocated to Palm Springs five years ago, established a home, wonderful relationships and a successful business. I’ve experienced this city’s growth in many ways but most importantly, within the last year, I’ve witnessed the growth of our Trans Community. Asia’s move to the desert is only the tip of the cactus for what’s in store and I have never been prouder to be a Transgender woman.

But enough about the sentimental heart felt expression of excitement I’m experiencing and more of what Asia has to offer.  Let’s start with several indoor event spaces including a full bar with brunch and dinner options. Asia will also feature “The Sonoran” (A North American desert which covers large parts of the Southwestern United States including Arizona, California as well as Northwestern Mexico). The Sonoran in Asia (Palm Springs) is an extensive out door event space coupled with a completely new food concept. It’s Cal-Asian cuisine created by award winning Executive Chef Jen Solomon and is sure to satisfy your taste buds while providing dinner and brunch performances showcasing the world-famous Ladies of AsiaSF – Transgender women who serve and entertain guests with top-rated live cabaret performances.
