Palm Springs, CA: If you thought that the leather community was only about parties and sleek clothing then you haven’t been paying attention.  Supporters of leather, kink and BDSM are some of the most active givers to charity, and Palm Springs Leather Order of the Desert (PSLOD), a local nonprofit organization takes that legacy to heart.

As part of the lead-up to their annual Leather Pride, the organization is hosting two events to help the less fortunate members of the Coachella Valley.  The first was a shoe and sock drive where partygoers attending Tool Shed, received buy one get one free drink coupons in exchange for bringing any pair of new or used shoes and socks.  PSLOD collected over 200 pairs of socks and shoes for needy individuals in the desert cities. 

During the Pride festivities, attendees will get another opportunity to support a good cause at the Revivals After Dark Fundraiser.  The outdoor event will be in the back alley of Revivals Palm Springs store and follow all al recommended Covid-19 safety protocols.  Gently used leather gear, gay erotica, art, books, and more will be available for purchase.  A simple harness can run easily cost hundreds of dollars however, early birds can expect a bargain.  An attendee from last year stressed that this was not the event to arrive fashionably late as pieces get snatched up quickly.

The exclusive vintage retail event will take place on Friday, October 8th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the back alley of Revivals Palms Springs 611 S. Palm Canyon Dr.  Palm Springs, CA 92262
