Bibbidi Bobbidi BOO, It’s Halloween Time!

We have officially embarked on one of my favorite holiday seasons and I’m just squealing with delight! The house is decorated, the pumpkin spice candles are lit, and I’m ready to greet all the goblins and ghouls!!!!

I’m the kind of gal that loves the sweet vintage whimsy of fall as well as the blood curdling screams from the boogie man. She’s what you can call a “well rounded woman.” I’ve been to every haunted house this side of the Mississippi, and I’m here for you with recommendations for the RIGHT kind of FRIGHT this year.

My #1 recommendation is “Halloween Horror Nights” at Universal Studios Hollywood. It’s the best, truly, and when deciding on purchasing tickets, I always go with the R.I.P Tour. My #2 is “Knott’s Scary Farm” at Knott’s Berry Farm. More chainsaws and gore await you including their funny, inappropriate, and corny witch hanging at the Calico Square show. Sadly, Elvira has retired from her yearly residency there, but consider yourself lucky if you were able to see her in the flesh! www.knotts.com

My #3 is “Fright Fest” at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Since I’m a good woman of the Lordt, I’ll be honest and let you know this rates maybe a 6 out of 10 for me on mazes and frights, but it’s still a spooky good time. Some coasters are run with no lights for the event, which in the past have included Twisted Colossus, my favorite coaster at the park! www.sixflags.com

I’ll mention that the “Oogie Boogie Bash” at Disney’s California Adventure is a MUST, but it is completely sold out for the 2021 season. The event includes special photo ops with all your favorite Disney Villains and treat trails with enough candy to give a family of 6 diabetes. Parades and shows never disappoint at this after dark SPOOK-TACULAR and it’s fun for the whole family. I did find some third-party tickets available for resale at a 300% mark-up, so if you need this in your life, and live the lifestyle of the rich and famous, this CANNE happen for you. #GoogleIT

If you want to take flight on your broomstick, then Walt Disney World is the place to cast some spells! The Sanderson Sisters will delight you with an all-star show on the front of the castle steps and the Halloween firework show is better than bobbing for apples!
