GAY DAYS Anaheim

Begun in 1998, Gay Days Anaheim brings around 35,000 LGBT revelers to Southern California’s noted Disneyland resort and theme park, which has been delighting revelers of all ages since it launched back in 1955, forever transforming the previously quiet and little-visited local landscape.

The Schedule

• Gay Days at Anaheim is not an official Disney event – the park remains open to all throughout the weekend, and GLBT attendees typically wear red shirts to indicate their participation.
• What was once a small one-day gathering has become a full weekend event with parties, gatherings, group photos, scavenger hunts, private meals, and much more!

Saturday Highlights

• The main event is the Gay Day at Disneyland, held on the Saturday of the weekend, from 8am until 11pm, complete with the famous Gay Days Scavenger hunt. Don’t miss the trip on the Big Red Boat at 11am, a great way to mix and mingle.
• GayDays world-famous group photo is at 3pm at the Sleeping Beauty Castle.
• Saturday night’s highlight includes the Kingdom Party at 10pm featuring guest DJs and Drag Acts at the House of Blues, Anaheim.

Sunday Highlights

• On Sunday enjoy Gay Days at Disney’s California Adventure on Buena Vista Street from 8am to 6pm. Enjoy the bear run at 11am by the big bear statue, and the photo meetup on Pixar Pier at 2pm.
• Other Sunday highlights include the Plunge Pool Party from noon until 4pm at the Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel. with guest DJs.
