Here we are, still living a socially distanced lifestyle with face mask tan lines, and an eagerness to return to the way things were before this whole Pandemic began. But most of us are starting to catch on, realizing we need to adjust the way we live.

Looking back now, almost everything we did pre-Covid seemed simple – gathering in groups, touching strangers, eating out, attending events, and grabbing drinks at our favorite bars. While not easy, people are beginning to find ingenious ways to come together, like Drive-In Drag Shows, plastic dividers, and outdoor dining/drinking.  While many LGBTQ Bars and Clubs have had to sadly shutter their doors, there are spaces adapting to this new world and doing so brilliantly!

CHILL BAR PALM SPRINGS 

An afternoon/evening spent at Chill Bar combines the best of outdoor California living with LGBTQ culture and a real sense of the Palm Springs lifestyle. A locals and travelers favorite spot known for their friendly bartenders, great drinks, and now delicious food! 

 

V WINE LOUNGE

New to the desert is V Wine Lounge, located 5 minutes walking distance from Downtown Palm Springs, with plenty of parking. EXECUTIVE SUITE 

Dine with Divas at Executive Suite in Long Beach. The popular spot just recently opened their doors, so to say, now offering dining and drinks alfresco. If you’re a fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race, you’ll want to head over to the Suites to see the likes of Mayhem Miller, Delta Work, Heidi N Closet, Morgan McMichaels, and Mariah Paris Balenciaga.

THE ABBEY FOOD & BAR 

The world famous Abbey is going strong daily with outdoor patio dining. Enjoy your drinks and eats with a strict social distancing policy.  Your temperature will be taken upon arrival, just make sure you have your mask on. Hours of operation: M-F 11am-2am Saturday-Sunday 10am-2am.

 

URBAN MO’S

Located in the heart of San Diego’s LGBTQ Hillcrest, Urban Mo’s has taken dining with drinks outdoors. With the beautiful weather that Southern California has to offer, eating outside is becoming quite the pastime, and what better place to spend it than at this hot spot, six feet apart of course!

 

RICH’S

Rich’s Outdoor Day Lounge is NOW OPEN Wednesday-Sunday. Their new safe, socially distant and fun outdoor rainbow lounge is a fun summer escape from reality. You’ll need to reserve your table in advance, so make sure you do so HERE.

 

BEAUX

Beaux in San Francisco in now partnering with @TacoBoys_  for outdoor dining & drinks! Check them out (mask adorned, of course) 3-9pm Monday-Thursday, 12-9pm Friday-Sunday.
