This Quarantine might as well been called “Carbatine” with all of the bored eating going on in my household.  There is another pandemic happening, called the Snack Attack…does a gallon of ice cream count as a snack?  Well, there is one group from our LGBT nightlife community that seems immune to packing on the pounds.  The boys that keep the libido going through the night, our beloved go-go boys are fighting the good fight with home workouts, a great attitude, and drawers full of underwear perfect for hot social media content.  We chatted with go-go boys across the US to find out how they are coping with Corona.

Nick DiCristina  – Chicago / IG: @NickDi41585

Nick DiCristina lives and works in Chicago and has been a fixture at the major clubs for quite a while.  With an amazing body and a big…personality, crowds are even more obsessed with his “outie”.  He has been self-quarantining with his boo and has an abundance of toilet paper regularly – is that what happens when two bottoms share a home?

You have been self-quarantined with your boo – what survival tips can you give us about being on lockdown with your partner to avoid getting on each other’s nerves?

Well, I can tell you this much: make lists of things to do around the house, and keep yourself occupied. Also, I can suggest doing tasks together, such as cooking meals or baking a cake, and most definitely, show one another some affection on a regular basis. Making love is always on our list of things to do together… it definitely keeps us active (physically) and gets some aggression out.

How many times per week are you hooking up with your boo under Quarantine?

We hook up regularly, probably every other day/night, give or take.

Biggest pet peeve when dealing with other go-go boys backstage?

Guys who wear a penis cover in their underwear, so it doesn’t show the head of their cock.

Least favorite song to dance to?

Dancing Queen by Abba.

How much toilet paper do you have?

Six rolls.

Your binge food under Quarantine?

Chips (Doritos or Ruffles).

Eddie Danger – Washington, DC  IG: @EddieDanger

You’ve seen Eddie Danger on Jonny McGovern’s Hey Qween, you’ve seen him on The Howard Stern Show, you’ve seen him make appearances around the nation at about every club, drooled over his too hot for TV Instagram, and you probably have watched his adult content a few (or many) times.  But who is the person behind the persona? It might surprise you to learn that this renaissance man has a Masters, is an accomplished poet, published author, and musician.

You are very open about your sexual fluidity – girls, guys, and everything in between.  Have you always had such an open attitude when it comes to sexual attraction?

I have never made it a habit of mine to seek the status of fitting in anywhere. I have spent the majority of my life pursuing varying interests that have nothing to do with being considered “beautiful”. However, the conception of social media has certainly provided an outlet for me to entertain, and delivered to me an audience that appreciates my form of entertainment under the guise of my being a simple pornographer. My small audience seems to appreciate the parody of it all. We found each other. They know me.

Similarly, regarding my sexuality: I don’t need to fit in either. What I do with my penis (and my romance along with it) only matters to prying eyes (or the subscribers to my amateur porn site). Just the same, I have found an audience who appreciates my open-minded nature. We’ve found each other. Surprisingly, the subscribers to my site have commissioned videos for me to create with an array of differing gender identities. But, to be completely fair, I am not at all the leader in this pornographic revolution. There is a performer named Lance Hart who really paved the way for a lot of us. Go look him up.

I feel like I am changing a lot of hearts and minds on the topic of sexual fluidity, but I’ll never be canonized. Maybe, if I were more beautiful, I’d make a greater impact. For now, I’m just a single guy who can always find a date on a Friday night.

Is it hard to date you, being so open to your sexual likes?

I wouldn’t say so. Although, I am sure it affects the types of ass I pull. If you are the type of person who needs to show off your perfect life to your perfect family, I am absolutely not the man for you. I live in a very realistic world, but unrestrained by conventional living. A potential partner has to be ok with the fact that I have my naked body all over the internet and perform under my legal name. There is no escaping my life’s choices and I am proud of it. I have nothing to hide. I’d need a partner who lives a life similarly dedicated to transparency, whether it extends to the public or not.  I grew up in a small town. I will never allow myself to be locked up in that cage ever again.

Worst date?

A girl once drove to Washington DC from my hometown to go on a wild night with super cool stripper EDDIE DANGER, who used to live right down the road! She was horribly combative over my meaningless tattoos. She rattled on and on about the sentimentality of the infinity symbol that adorned her wrist accompanied by a quote from “Where the Wild Things Are”. I have a roller-skate, a wizard beaver, disco ball, and a few of my ex’s names tattooed into my skin. Unwilling to accept such a flagrance with the sanctity of my body, she proceeded to torture me with the minutia of her life’s philosophy. Unable to diffuse her frustration, I gave her some unenthusiastic dick and sent her packing. She was unremarkable. I don’t remember her name or how she looked. I just recall that she drove a total of eight hours that day simply to fight with a stripper about body modification and have some incredibly boring sex.

Strangest thing you’ve bought during the Quarantine?

Three Hitachi Vibrator Chargers – None of them worked. Discovered bad vibes are worse than no vibes at all.

Strangest fan request?

Anything involving advising children or teenagers. I’m a compassionate man, but not a parent. If your children want to grow up to be me, maybe suggest studying feminism or gender politics instead.

Have you had a Facetime hookup during the Quarantine?

No. Although, I have performed a striptease for a Virtual Bachelorette Party. I don’t know if that counts.

First go to toilet paper substitution?

Bank Statements

Jonny B – Milwaukee / Green Bay / St. Louis  IG: @The_Real_Jonny_B

Jonny B, Mr. Gay Great Lakes of US of A & Mr. Five Nightclub 2019, performs in Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay, St. Louis, Omaha, and Minneapolis.  He is the wild farm boy with curves getting ready to make his claim and is always ready to BE WILD, He is Jonny B. Wild.

You are very proud of being a corn fed, farm boy – not a usual body type we see out here at the LA clubs where nobody has eaten since birth, did you ever feel the need to conform to a certain body type of presentation?

Growing up, I was built like a linebacker and was never skinny but, I could chase and tackle down cows as fast as they go loose. I was a farm boy who was a football player and a wrestler in high school. When I came out in my sophomore year of high school in a little hick town, I did not know what body type I was supposed to be. I never understood or cared about what I looked like. It was in college when I was exposed to men with the ridges where I thought the belly is supposed to be that I thought maybe I should shed a few pounds. Now at this point in my life, I was farm-raised, cornfed, and athletically built starting college. So, thinking I had to lose more weight was going to put me in an unhealthy state of mind. I lost all energy because I was not eating and I was lifting like a NFL football Player, BUT I did not lose any weight nor get those bumps called abs. I actually gained more weight and when one of my professors saw that he sat me down and gave told me to be realistic. So, I stopped trying to work for body image that isn’t impossible but was healthy for me.  From that point on I decided to work out, eat healthy, and try to encourage positive body image. And yes, I have relapsed to the days of not eating, or forcing fingers down my throats because I thought I was not “hot” or “beautiful” because I went home alone or was told I was not someone types. Conforming and thinking one body can sell sexy is a lie and that is something I learned from go-go dancing, show boy and being a Pageant Boy. I honestly came a long way from what I went through but a body is great to look at for only so long. At the end of the night, if a guy takes me home, we are stopping at Taco bell first because this boy needs to eat and I am not afraid of showing it! So I just want to say that live your life, eat some food, go travel, take off your shirt and show the world your body because you are all beautiful and that’s coming from a cornfed farm boy like myself!

The first thing that attracts you in someone else?

BUTTS!!!! I love BUTTS, BIG BUTTS, LITTLES BUTTS. ALL SORTS OF BUTTS. also nipples BUT MOSTLY BUTTS!!!!!

Least favorite song to dance to?

Anything super slow because it turns into a high school dance style of dancing and nobody wants to slow dance with a go-go boy like that!

Craziest go-go boy story?

I once go-go danced at a small bar near my hometown, this was a gay bar and it was a crazy night of neon paint, shots from my belly button and fun music. I went to stay at friend’s house that night that I knew was a safe place to go after the gig was over and I did not know the house was frozen in the 1960s but I also had Jesus, Mary, and Joseph watching me as well in the shower and the bedroom. All I know I was a good Gay Christian boy that night if I liked it or not!

Strangest thing you’ve seen someone do during the Quarantine?

The strangest thing I have seen/ heard was my father going to a cattle auction in Wisconsin because he knew there wouldn’t be a lot of people there and bought more cows for the farm. Farmers still have to make money too. Thank you, farmers  – gay, bi, and straight!

Are you wearing pants right now?

I am wearing puma shorts and underwear that show off my ASSets and will go in running after work.

Dre Smith – Long Beach IG: DretheCyborg

Made in the north, raised by the south, trained in the east, he is now shaking it up in the west.  Dre Smith, aka Dre the Cyborg, regularly performs in Palm Springs, San Diego, LA, and Long Beach, and is well known in the bear community and appeared at this year’s International Bear Convergence in Palm Springs.

Big, beefy and beautiful – do you ever feel like when you get booked, it’s like oh, there’s our token bear dancer?   How do bear events differ from other gay events?

No, well at least I never thought of it that way. Regardless of what the reason may be I’m there to dance, give the clientele energy, and get paid.  Other than size… bear events have more kink related parties than regular gay events unless it’s leather pride. Bear events tend to be more supportive than the mainstream events as well.

Celebrity you want to be quarantined with?

Dewayne Johnson.

How many times a week have you been showering during Quarantine?

Everyday.

How much toilet paper do you have?

I used flushable wipes. I hate toilet paper.

Strangest habit you’ve picked up during the Quarantine?

being upside down watching tv or playing games.

Most annoying thing you’ve found out about your neighbor from the Quarantine?

Their heavy @$$ feet stomping above me.

The Prince Joshua – Phoenix  IG: @ThePrinceJoshua

Prince Joshua is a bartender, go-go (Charlies Phoenix and BS West in Scottsdale, Arizona), model, an ambassador for Andrew Christian and Underwear Expert, and has a BA in Fashion and Marketing – so a smart ass and a cute ass.

What are the biggest fundamentals you learned about fashion marketing – do you watch any of the fashion reality shows?  What are fashion designers doing right, what are they doing wrong?

Learning a customer demographic’s wants and needs are vital to marketing. When you produce a product to match the market’s needs and wants, then you are sure to connect with them thus creating a customer relationship with your brand. Growing with them as their wants and needs change is another important aspect as we are all always growing and changing.  A lot of brands are creating face masks during this time and though some are using it for personal gain to help sales, others are donating to hospitals from the sales made which I think is a smart move. Using a brand to stay relevant by helping others and donating to a cause that affects everyone is a good use of a brand’s platform.

Favorite pair of undies to wear around the house?

I love to wear jocks or any of the naked styles by Andrew Christian are my favorite because of how comfortable they are!

Biggest turn off in a guy?

My biggest turn off in a guy would be if he treats others differently. I’m a very accepting person and enjoy connecting to people of all kinds, and if he’s shallow then I wouldn’t vibe well with him.

Britney or Beyonce?

I’d choose Britney since she’s the queen of pop and I like more of her songs.

Shadiest thing you’ve seen a go-go boy do backstage?

Getting in another guys bag without permission is super shady and I’ve seen guys do this. I’m the kind of person who asks permission before I would do that just to avoid drama.

How much should people be tipping a go-go dancer?

I don’t think there’s a set amount, though guys shouldn’t expect an entire 5-minute show for $1, it’s usually situational though. If you’re staring, give the boy a dollar because he’s working for it, people should remember we’re dancing all night long so it’s only fair to remember to tip your gogo boys, bartenders, and drag queens.

JACK DYER – Palm Springs  IG: @JDX1official

GoGo Daddy, Jack Dyer, 51 years old, dances in bars and events in LA, Palm Springs, San Francisco, Ft. Lauderdale, Long Beach, and San Diego.  He has received 20 porn award nominations and has appeared in 78 studio adult film and hosts his own Just For Fans site.  Don’t let his burliness and testosterone fool you, he’s a gentle giant as friendly as he is hot.

You have been in the industry as a fan favorite for quite a while, how has the nightlife and adult industry changed the most?

Not much, frankly.  There is a push for owning your own content with Only Fans or Just For Fans sites.  In terms of gogo and entertainment, I see there are a lot more older guys, like me, getting into dancing.  All shapes and sizes, too.  Gone are the days of “pretty boys only” on the box.  There is a broader audience and a broader spectrum of offerings.

Boxers or briefs?

Jock or Commando, ONLY

Strangest place you’ve hooked up?

I got a thing for truck stops and roadside rest areas.  Oh, and airport restrooms.  Particularly choice for me.

Biggest mistake people make while on a date?

Not preparing for what could and usually does happen at the end of the date.  Hygiene is key.  We will leave it at that.

Craziest thing you’ve seen at Pride?

Not really anything.  Pride is pretty tame when it comes to what I’m used to seeing.

Celebrity you’d want to film an adult scene with?

Eric Bana.  Woof.

Eddy CeeTee – Los Angeles  IG: E.CeeTee

Eddy Ceetee is an adult entertainer and international go-go dancer who is known for his big ass and amazing twerking skills.  He has performed for local clubs as well as the biggest international dance parties in the world.  He came to the US without speaking English and quickly adapted and made a name for himself – he is one of our favorite imports!

You are very sex-positive on your social media and with your opinions – the term slut-shaming has become a hot topic in the last few years with the rise of gender equality and LGBT visibility…what does the word slut mean to you, why is it so important to embrace your own sexuality?

The word slut to me is a positive word, especially with the person I am today. I have come a long way from the guy I used to be when I was younger. The word slut is having the confidence and self-acceptance and owning my sexuality and being true to who I am as a human. It’s being able to be comfortable enough to express myself and not hide it. I think that’s very important not only as a human but it’s important for all of us in the gay community especially to embrace who we are even as sluts because ultimately it makes us stronger and it’s empowering.

Biggest mistake people make when on a date with you?

Brag about how much money they have and talk about themselves the whole time.

Worst favorite song on your playlist?

Bundles by dreamdoll.

Strangest habit you’ve picked up while under this Quarantine?

Going to bed early and waking up early.

Last Amazon purchase?

Cold brew ground coffee.

One talent we don’t know you have?

I’m a great cook.

Jabriel Jordan “King Stephon” – San Diego  IG: @KingStephon_

How has your go go dancing changed the most since you started?

Since I’ve started dancing I’ve learned to pick up on different dance styles and free styling better!

We see a lot of you, a lot of skin on social media and at the clubs, but how are you most different than the go go dancer persona?

I’m most different because people see me as a sex symbol, but I’m actually very much the opposite. I’m kind, approachable and sweet.

Strangest thing you’ve had to buy for your go go career?

The strangest thing I’ve had to buy was a dick pill.

Biggest pet peeve with people tipping you at the club?

Anything under $20 bucks.

Cocktail that gets you in trouble, every time?

Sex on the Beach.

Favorite quarantine binge food?

Chipotle.
