SABRYNA WILLIAMS (aka Anthony Mauricio Moñtano) – Drag Ambassador

“Pride to me means being able to express openly and happily who you are,” exclaims emcee extraordinaire Sabryna Williams. “Thanks to the people who paved the way for us, we are able to be free about who we are regardless of identifiers and come together as a diverse community of amazing individuals!”

Haters, take a hike – Williams has no time for your nonsense.

“Events like Pride are important to show the world that no matter what our opposers may think of us, we love who we are, and we aren’t going away! It’s important that we stand together as a community and stand up for ourselves, both socially and politically! Election Day is not far from Pride this year, and this will be a time to ‘drag out’ the votes and make our voices heard! I will always advocate for our community to vote, vote, VOTE!!!”

We approve this message. And we double approve of every damn appearance Williams makes. You can usually find her hosting Sunday Tea N’ Shade at Boozehounds (www.boozehoundsps.com) for a raucous Sunday afternoon lunch show with The Lunchettes: Aria Skys Williams, Athena Kills, and weekly surprise guests. She is also a regular performer at Chill Bar, Toucan’s, and One Eleven.

“I’ll be hosting Not Your Grandma’s Bingo: Pride Edition at Chill Bar downtown Palm Springs with amazing giveaways on Saturday of pride weekend! Friday night and Saturday night I will be hosting and performing at Boozehounds Palm Springs for our amazing dog friendly and outstanding Pride events!”

So, get ready for some ruff love, y’all. This drag queen from New Mexico is a fiery Latina and has come to slay.

“Always remember that Pride is about loving yourself and allowing yourself to mingle with people from all different walks of life. Take this year and remind yourselves where we came from and, with the election coming up, where you want YOUR future to go! We are masters of our own destiny and thanks to events like Pride we can show the world that our future is bright!”
