Was your career in Makeup Artistry what got you interested in Drag?

I do love my years as a makeup artist. But drag is more than just makeup – it’s like a combination of every art in the world. What got me interested in drag is that you can express yourself as an artist in many different ways. I’m a show girl, dancer, actor, singer and more. Drag gave me the opportunity to become the rock star that I always dreamed of – it is my career and my passion.

You’ve been a huge fan favorite since RuPaul’s Drag Race.  What propelled you to make a career of Drag?

The first drag show that I watched back in Puerto Rico gave me the motivation. Drag is one of the most beautiful arts in the world and you don’t have to follow any rules. You are free to be as creative as you want to be. I have a lot of inspirations – like Madonna, Paula Abdul, Monica Naranjo and others, but Jessica is unique and is my best creation as an artist. You need to have a lot of courage to be a Drag Queen, and I chose the right career. I love to entertain and make people happy.

How often do you return to Puerto Rico?  Do your fans mob you when you are there?

I go to Puerto Rico a lot. I can’t stay away from my island for too long. All my family and old friends are there. I have fans there, but I have more than that – I have a lot of support from the gay community in Puerto Rico. It is a beautiful feeling when you’re back in your home town and they love you as much as I love Puerto Rico!

GED Magazine and YOCISCO Underwear are presenting the Club Papi San Diego Pride Fiesta on Friday July 17th and we are looking forward to your appearance, along with Yara Sofia and Lineysha Sparx.  Are you looking forward to performing with your Puerto Rican sisters?  Do you have a tighter bond because you are all from Puerto Rico?

Yessssss! I can’t wait to see my sisters Yara Sofia and Lineysha Sparx! I love to perform with them and I always enjoy our presentations with Club Papi.  San Diego is going to GAG with this Puerto Rican Invasion! I’m very connected with the girls not because we are from Puerto Rico, but because we are really good friends and a great team. We support each other and are the perfect combination for a fabulous show. Get ready San Diego because we are going to be on fire!

Do you have any new music coming our way?

Yes!  I’m working on a Spanish tribute album inspired by my favorites Latin Divas. This project is more for my live shows around Latin America, but I’m also working on a new single in three different languages, and I have an upcoming surprise featuring one of my favorite Drag Race queens.  Music is a very important part of my life and my career and I will keep doing more music for my fans and people who love to dance.

Everyone has a “hidden” talent.  What’s yours?

If I do porn one day you will see… ESCANDALO!
