DILLON FRANCIS’ DEBUT ALBUM MONEY SUCKS, FRIENDS RULE IS OUT NOW

Recently named as an Artist To Watch by MTV, Dillon currently reigns as #1 provocateur of EDM.  Credited with helping to put the dance movement Moombahton on the map with the pioneering track “Masta Blasta,” the song gave flight to his diverse career; From 2011’s innovative Mad Decent debut EP  Westside, to 2012’s Something, Something, Awesome, to last year’s breakthrough track “Without You” (named “one of the best electro-pop songs of the year” by Pitchfork), to his debut album, Dillon has established himself as a fearless music trailblazer with his finger on the pop culture pulse. 

Columbia Records and Mad Decent DJ/Producer Dillon Francis’ debut album Money Sucks, Friends Rule is available now. The album features multiple entrancing collaborations with notable artists including DJ Snake, Martin Garrix, Twista, Panic! At The Disco’s Brendon Urie and Major Lazer, among others. Rolling Stone noted that “each track is expertly crafted” while Entertainment Weekly praised the album’s versatility, saying: “Over the course of 12 tracks, he offers smatterings of pop, traditional club dance tracks, a few surprisingly downtempo tunes and, of course, some of his signature moombahton.” The album is already #1 on the iTunes Dance chart and Top 10 overall. In celebration of his debut release, Dillon has premiered a behind-the-scenes video from the shoot for his latest single “When We Were Young.” Check out the behind-the-scenes footage:
The video itself revolves around Dillon celebrating his 3rd birthday, featuring performance footage of the song’s collaborators playing children’s instruments.  Instagram star/comedian The Fat Jew and adult film actress Sophie Dee also make cameo appearances in the funny and affectionate clip.
