A visit to Palm Springs is not complete without a visit to Cheeky’s for breakfast or lunch. Cheeky’s serves up the freshest locally grown food on a menu that changes weekly to adjust to whatever is the freshest.

With mouth-watering beverages and fresh smoothies, an incredible array of house-made pastries (including the house specialty croissant cinnamon rolls), and a bacon bar of different bacons, it is really difficult to decide what to have.

On this particular Sunday, with the warm sun shining in Palm Springs, a couple of good friends and our pooch in tow (the patio at Cheeky’s is dog-friendly), we arrived to find the usual wait. Good news travels… and this is one place that it worth waiting for.

We decided on the Grilled Chicken & Avocado Sandwich: arugula pesto, fontina and mayo $9; Local Grass Fed Burger & pesto fries $9 (bacon/+Cheese/OR+avocado+$1); and Huevos Rancheros w/Peruano Beans, guacamole & sour cream $10.

Each was a tasty treat and we savored each mouthful. The ambiance is California casual and the service is friendly, attentive and genuine, with the feeling that the staff enjoys working at Cheeky’s. And it’s a good-looking bunch too! Our server Colbie was beyond terrific.

So, whether you’re a visitor or local, head down to Cheeky’s for a great breakfast or lunch. Cheeky’s is located at 622 N. Palm Canyon Dr., Palm Springs, CA, and open every day except Tuesday from 8am til 2pm.
