A Weekend of Wine & Celebration in California Wine Country

To Benefit Face to Face, Sonoma County HIV/AIDS NETWORK

GWW16-2

Gay Wine Weekend 2017 is coming July 14 -16, 2017. Gay Wine Weekend includes three full days of LGBT events in Northern California’s magnificent Sonoma & Napa Valleys – home to some of the world’s most prestigious wine & wineries. Celebrate with world class wine and culinary delights, VIP receptions, wine tasting excursions, a champagne brunch, gay wine auction, and the signature Twilight T Dance at California’s iconic Chateau St. Jean Winery, in one of the most stunning Wine Country settings.

The dates may have changed, but you can expect the same wonderful experience of enjoying food and wine in a beautiful setting with friends, old and new. “Moving our event from Pride month gives us the opportunity to reach a broader audience while allowing our guests to celebrate Gay Pride at home and join Out In The Vineyard for our weekend celebration in Sonoma,” says Co-Owners Mark Vogler and Gary Saperstein.

GWW16-46Over the course of the three day “Gay Wine Weekend” there are many events to attend.  Gary continues, “Our Winemaker Dinners and Winery Tours are very popular as we keep them intimate. We truly want our guests coming in to have the opportunity to not only taste the wines but meet and get to know the winemakers. The Twilight T-Dance is the signature event of the weekend where we lay a dance floor literally out in the vineyard.” This year’s T-Dance will take place at the majestic Chateau St.Jean Winery with international DJ WayneG spinning.  On Sunday there is the Recovery Brunch and Wine Auction where, according to Gary, “we get a bit more serious and raise money for Face to Face, Our Sonoma County HIV/AIDS Network.”  The weekend is capped off with a closing Pool Soiree. What better way to end the weekend than with a pool party!

GWW16-29A portion of the proceeds from the event go to Face to Face, which has been on the forefront of the AIDS crisis in Sonoma County for the past 35 years, with their new mission to end HIV/AIDS all together in Sonoma County.
