It could be fairly safe to say that each and every one of us has an inner desire to love fully and to be fully loved!  The feeling of love, the desire to be loved is Universal. It has been said that love is why we are here, that we came into this lifetime to experience profound depths of unlimited love. So, it is time for us to remember to get busy doing just that!

The essence of love is everywhere.  Every day, every moment, truly each breath we take is an opportunity to express more love. The healing balm that soothes aches and pains, that comforts and uplifts broken hearts, that empowers us to new heights of expansive joy, it is all love!  When we open our hearts we can see it and feel it everywhere.  It is in nature, it is the inner nature of each of us, in the depths of our souls.  We were created for this and it is our willingness to see it clearly that brings more of it into our lives.

So to experience more lovin’ in our lives, we must BE more loving. The bottom line is… that it all begins with us.  I know sometimes we may not want to hear that, and we may want to stay stuck in looking for love from others.  In expecting others to love us in a certain way, we build up resentment if we don’t get it in that manner.  Or even then at times we may be feeling unlovable so we unconsciously repel whatever love may be coming to us.  The truth of the matter is – love is an inside job!  We accept more love from others when we are more loving to ourselves.  As we choose to be kinder to ourselves, we shall be kinder to others.  As we practice being gentle and accepting of ourselves, we shall be more available to practice kindness and gentleness with others. It starts with us.

Think about… where can you be more compassionate and loving to yourself and those around you today? Where can you forgive yourself and others today?  Where can you acknowledge and express appreciation for your life this day?  I often invite my clients to ask these questions and two more very, very important questions as often as possible:  What is the most loving thing I can do for myself in this moment?  What is the most loving thing I can do for another?  Ask, and then listen!  Your inner voice will lead the way with answers that will crack your heart open.  Be willing to follow the inner guidance and stretch in your YES to love fully and completely.  Remember, that is why you are here.

Open your heart, take a breath, and, allow the love to flow!

“In a state of love, we are magnets for love.  We are literally more lovable and more enjoyable to love.”
