The LGBTQ Center of Long Beach presents the 4th Annual Black and White Ball, with dinner, dancing, and an awards presentation recognizing local and national LGBTQ luminaries. This signature event is the place to see and be seen while out in support of The LGBTQ Center and our shared community. The Black and White Ball is a sell-out event and is one of the most popular, elegant, and engaging LGBTQ celebration events in Long Beach. With an intimate focus on guest experience, attendees rave about the interactive elements of our event including silent auction, photo booth, red carpet photo opportunities, decadent candy bar, dancing, and more. The Center is excited to be honoring Assemblymember Patrick O’Donnell with the Political Icon Award. The Community Icon Award will be granted to the Imperial Court of Long Beach, and the newly formed Ellen Ward Leadership Icon Award will be presented to Vanessa Romain. As the largest publicly supported LGBTQ direct service organization in greater Long Beach, The Center serves 25,000 clients annually through our programs and cultural events. The Black and White Ball is The Center’s signature gala, presenting guests with an evening of elegance and sophistication in the spirit of celebrating our community’s many accomplishments.
